"This is the correct VGA adapter for the Series 5 (535) 13.3" screen size, Canadian model # "NP535U3C-A01CA"! It is not listed as such on the Samsung website or identified in the user manual that comes with the "Series 5". It is also incorrectly named as it is a "Mini VGA Adapter" and plugs into a mini VGA port, NOT an HDMI port. The term "Micro" is used on adapters that have a smaller notebook connector on them and causes confusion with the other similar adapter. I would suggest that if you are going to use your notebook with a VGA projector or monitor that you not buy the Series 5, instead buy the next model up that has the standard VGA port on it. You will save yourself a lot of trouble as this adapter is not included with the Series 5 and you may have trouble tracking one down. That said, the work I did in finally identifying the correct part number will at least give you a place to start."
"Although both the seller and the product box promised it, the adapter simply does not fit the port on my brand-new Series 9."
Cons: Did not meet expectations

"This is not a micro-hdmi to VGA adapter, it's a "Display port" to VGA adapter. If you're trying to run two monitors, take note of the model number displayed here, because that IS correct. You can then take that number and search for it, as the online retailer for this product charges excessively for shipping."
