Nice Printer, Laser Color at Inkjet prices!

"I was really looking for a replacement for my 7 year old MP530 inkjet multi but was surprised to find this Color Laser multi so affordable! Easy Wi-Fi set-up with the WPS button in <60 seconds, I now print from my new desktop running Windows 8, my laptop running XP Pro and my iPhone with the Samsung Printer App. All work great and has shown to be a very good quality printer. Nice looking and takes up very little space. Smaller than my MP530."
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, easy set-up, versatile, great quality

Great for printing/faxing/copying/scanning. But no duplex

"This printer is very reliable and prints at a reasonably fast pace when printing black and white, but is a lot slower when printing in colour. The fax, copy and scan features work very well. The only downside to this printer is that it does not have a duplex printing option, so when you want to print double sided you have to print odd pages only, then flip the papers and put them back in the tray and print even pages...which takes up some time. But overall one of the best 4-in-1 out there so far..."

"As a student, this printer is pretty good. Good mileage on toner, good quality color printing and I love the "toner save" option. For example I had to print Biology slides that have a lot of color pictures and it's definitely better to have them in color and so I did that using the toner save option to save on toner while only having a bit of quality loss to the picture itself (looked faded because it was using less toner, but still more than clear enough for the purposes of studying). I also like to print double sided whenever I can, and although this printer does not have the ability to do it automatically (i wish it did), it kind of guides you through doing it manually if you're not used to it, so it's not too bad.
I wish that the scanner could scan at a resolution higher than 600dpi because I like to do work on picture restorations and whatnot as a hobby, but for your average person that just needs to scan normal things (like documents or even pictures without the intent of professional level photography) the quality is more than sufficient.
We have been using this printer for a few months and I don't remember the specifics but we got the wifi working fine after a day, and it's worked perfectly fine ever since (works fine with our smartphones, laptops and desktops all over wifi). Definitely nice to have as few cables lying around as possible."

Too difficult to navigate thru issues

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
"Machine prone to paper jams and very difficult to navigate them thru. Has a toner waster compartement that still trying to figure out what it is and why it needs replacing when machine is only 4 months old. Wireless signal is frequently lost and unable to find port. Seems like I spend more troublshooting than enjoying tis printer."

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
"Every time I go to print or scan anything with this printer it is off line, or my computer does not find it. It has been a waste of time trying to make it work. My husband was on the phone with a tech support for about an hour to get it set up. Very difficult to make it work with Mac products. The wifi connection never stays connected and I have to go through a time consuming troubleshooting in order to get it to work (if I can get it to work). I have given up and I am going to switch it back with my old corded ink jet printer."

Cons: Did not meet expectations, wifi does not work, very complicated to set up
