No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
"We have had this dishwasher for approximately 6 months. Have tried everything the company has suggested from different detergent, different rinsing agents and even putting a tablet in the bottom of the washer. NOTHING helps. Dishes are always dirty!! Most of the time leaving black pieces of debri on the plates and glasses. I just read the description of the dishwasher and it states that no rinsing is needed! If I don't nearly wash the dishes before putting them in the washer... nothing would be clean. I have never been as disappointed in an appliance before.. do not purchase this!!"
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

Hard to load and does not clean as advertised especially glasses on upper rack and silverware trays

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
"Followed dish loading guide (this is rediculously specific!!!!) as per the manual....tried different soap products and use rinse aid as per the manual.....checked the nozzles for clogging as per the manual.....mainly the silverware and glasses on upper rack does not fully clean......particles and/or food clumps are left on dishes.....shouldn't have to physically prewash dishes prior to putting them in the dishwasher...I'm sure the hardware and electronics will stand the test of time( I am a Samsung supporter), but that is irrelevant if the dishes are not being cleaned. I have had 2 other brand dishwashers in this house, and although they didn't last as long as I wanted them to, they still reliably cleaned the dishes!!!!!"
