No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
"This camera is nothing but a shiny new camera running the Android Jelly Bean OS. For the same price as this camera, you can get better quality cameras - way better quality. However, I will be very interested in where they take this 'SmartCamera' technology. Keep your eyes out for later versions of this camera!"
