No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
"I bought this stylus instead of a cheaper generic stylus because I was hoping to get a quality accessory that would work well with my new Galaxy S III. The stylus does not work that well --- you really have to tap a lot harder than I expected (and the stylus is very particular about the angle, too), and I often have to tap 3 or 4 times for the touch to register (with my finger, I barely have to touch the screen for things to happen). I tried using the stylus to write in S Memo and found it rather difficult. It often skips (even though there is no protective film on my screen), and it's not precise enough to write legibly. True, it keeps the screen nice and clean, but the touch screen does not respond well to it so it's not that pleasant tu use. Very disappointed."
