I would recommend this to a friend!
"So far I love my new laptop unfortunately I had a problem with it after 2 months use. However Samsung tried very hard, long and patiently to fix it because I believed the problem was due to a bios update they recommended ( but apparently it turned out to be a virus, unknown to me as I thought I was protected). They then had me send it to Vancouver for format etc and no charge. The only issue I had was that I wish the 1TB HD had been partitioned so Tech support could have made a back up and done a repair/format at my home via phone help instead of having to send it away.
I purposely and carefully shopped for this laptop because I wanted the 17 inch screen and the very highest quality screen ( hi resolution non glare) and I got it in this model....also sound quality is good too.....it is wonderful. It was very important for me to get a matte, non glare screen and this is not easy to do as Samsung is one of only a few to realize how important a high quality non glare screen is to the health and comfort of your eyes....other companies should wake up! The laptop itself works just fine and I have absolutely no complaints so far...a good product and the customer service and tech help was great.... I would recommend Samsung."

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
"I bought this computer. Clearly it had the best specs for the money. Unfortunately I had to return it because of the design. The ports located along the left side and prevent anyone from using a mouse in their left hand.
