No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
"I bought this Fridge because of the look and features. This is my first French Door Refrigerator, and once I turn on this Fridge, every 5 to 10 mins I will get a loud sparking noise like a metal ball hitting the fridge. After 4 months of use, the Fridge not turning it on anymore. There is a lot of storage at the doors, but they should have put that space inside the fridge instead on the door because the temperature keep on changing everytime when open door. Also I have young childs, they end up can't get anything out from the fridge because most of the snack & foods need to store on the top 3 shelfs that they can't reach. The other major problem that apply to all these French Door Fridge, the Freezer on the bottom without shelf is my major problem. Every time I need to get anything, I need to move all the frozen foods around in order to get into the item (just a nightmere). Also, every once a while when I have ice cream/McFlurry/smoothy/Blizzard required temporary put into Freezer, I can't because it is full of stuff that there is no "flat" surface. This is one of my worse decision to get this fridge in my life. It just die on me the second times, and I am calling the service technician to fix it."
Pros: nice feature
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, not for family with young child, hard to get stuff out from freezer
