"If you want a phone that does everything for you then the Samsung Galaxy Note II is for you. I love it's ability to multitask smoothly and with out any issues. It's has the best alarm clock to wake you up on time and it won't make you dread waking up for another day at work. It's S Note program is wonderful and easy to use to send message to colleagues, friends and family members. I simplifies my daily routines and it's great fun to use all the time."

Your Best Friend That's Always There For You

I would recommend this to a friend!
"I had this phone for about a week now, and I absolutely love it. It's like a best friend that's always near you. It's lightning fast and I never have to wait for something to load. I love to motion features (e.g. touch screen and rotate to launch the camera or shake the phone to refresh). It even has a magnetic field sensor and a metal detector app available for it :D
You can setup 7 home screens with a bunch of widgets or app shortcuts on them. GPS is also wonderful. In fact, it's better than my old GPS device.
If I'm to be pedantic and find any faults in this phone it would only be this:
1) The screen goes up close to the edges of the phone, so when you're operating it with one hand it's easy to accidentally press something you didn't want pressed.
2) The button on the stylus is somewhat inconvenient to press—though it might be just my fat fingers :)

"The screen is a great size to read the text. I went from a slide phone to the Note II and had no trouble adjusting to the great features. As with any new device it did take a while to find things. I love the stylus and that it fits directly in the built in holder. Being an older consumer I hated the new phones that were on the market but once I had a chance to really examine the Note II and it's features it was the device I really wanted. Once you get used to the size it really is not an issue. I do get comments about the size and I just say it is right for me. I really do recommend the phone to everybody that asks about it. Once I got the phone my son decided he had to have one as mom had a phone better than his. He does a lot more with his than I would ever do. I personally am under utilizing all the great features it has to offer but as I get more comfortable with it I start to use more and more of the features."

"I have the First Galaxy Note - and I love it, I like better than any competitor's phone. It's like having a little PC in the palm of my hand and the screen is big enough to be significant. Just when i thought that it couldn't get better you came out with this! I have tried it and I have to say, move over Note 1 hello better pen, better clarity and an all round better gadget! I am so impressed, and I think everyone should switch to Samsung Nation!"

"Excelent phone, maybe too many options that make it a little be scary for some, requires some kind of personal set up to feel more comfortable. Endless possibilities to operate, basically do all tricks for smart phones in the market. You can always add extra memory for almost nothing using micro cards. I'd love to see a more sturdy body case (as new BB Z10 or Iphone 5), existing is nice and stylish but feels a little plastic."

"Amazing phone. Size is perfect for me, but see how it could be an issue for smaller handed people. Incredibly fast, beautiful screen, little over saturated but can be changed in settings. Battery lasts for 2 or 3 days with normal use, at least 20 hrs with heavy use ( processor intense games for several hours). expandable memory, removable battery and cover. My only criticisms are that the material is lacking in quality and finish. The plastic is a little flimsy and slippery, and over branding is a bit tacky. And of course the bloatware, but that's carriers fault. Really impressed with this device, only thing I'm left wanting is wireless charging."

"I'm going to do this comparison within Samsung because I honestly think there are very few manufacturers that can measure up. I've own 3 Samsung smartphones Galaxy S2 Note 1 and Note 2 and my wife owns the Galaxy S3 so I've had a chance to try and use many of their devises. The Galaxy note takes the win. Here is why:
* Hardware Specs, Of all the phones in the market there are very few that can match the Super AMOLED screen with a whopping 720 x 1280 pixels, 5.5 inches (~267 ppi pixel density) resolution.
* Blazing speeds: With LTE speeds reaching can capacity to reach up to 100 Mbps download speed, is more than some computers from 4 years ago could reach in a package that fits in the palm of your hands. Quad Core 1.6 Ghz processor makes multitasking a breeze specially with the new Touchwiz multiwindow feature.There is no other phone in the market that does that right now.
* Design: People think the phone is to big but for me this is the perfect size for a phone. I want to be able to view a whole page and not spend my time scrolling instead of reading. Watching movies here is perfect on the go whether you take transit or just sitting at an airport waiting for your plane to arrive.
Memory: The expandable memory is a great feature, since it supports up to 64 GB you can put all your movies and pictures there and take it with you wherever you go.
Overall this phones has everything I need and more. It goes above and beyond. I probably wont need to buy another phone for the next 3 years. Then again, I might just have to get the note 3! :)"

"The first time my friends saw my Galaxy Note 2, they had mixed reactions. Since that this is the first phone/tablet hybrid, they are all shocked to see its size commenting that my phone is ridiculously BIG! I know they are not used to see phones with massive screen so i usually get ridicules. But as soon as I start showing them what it can do and what features it has, they are left in AWE, their jaws DROPPED and could not resist playing with it."

"I've had my Note 2 for a month now, and can say that i have never owned a better phone then this one. One of the most outstanding things about this phone was the battery ! It just blew me away. I can use this phone very often and the battery will last me 30 + hours and thats with wifi 3g texting browsing, youtube ! Love the features, and S pen as well."

"I have had my galaxy note 2 for about 4 months now but still it amazes me and I'm still in love with my Galaxy note 2 :) S note for example makes my life easier as a student by allowing me to write down notes quickly in class and because the screen is big, I could review my class notes through my Galaxy note 2 anywhere with ease. Overall, AMAZING phone!"

"Size does matter!!! Every time I take my Note II out of the pouch and people would always say "that's HUGH", and I replied "thank you very much". I don't think I can ever go back to anything smaller than 5.5". In today's world, you would need a screen that size to do all the multimedia comfortably. It not just the size that shine, this phone is a monster at everything it does, amazingly fast and smooth. The LCD screen is brilliant, I've never seen anything so beautiful and crystal clear. The battery life is excellent, from a regular daytime usage at work, I still got a 80% battery life left when I'm home . People would think a screen this big would drain the battery real quick, think again, this Note II will out last any smartphones out there. I would strongly recommend this to anybody that does multimedia with a phone, this would be a perfect choice.

"This is a fantastic device. I like everything about it. When I hold an iPhone now it just feels like a toy. This is perfect for movies, the web, games, social media. But, it is also perfect for business apps: a full usefull office suite, excellent calendar application & power features with the s-pen. If you actually use your device for anything, the extra screen is a benefit. The camera is fantastic. Mine came with 50G of dropbox storage for 2 years, & it auto-upload photos and video I take. It has an expandable SD card for internal storage. With an HDMI dock and bluetooth keyboard/mouse, I belive this could replace most people's PC. The battery life is excellent.

"I love this phone. It's big, bright, and infinitely useful. With proper apps, the S-pen can replace a Wacom tablet, which I find particularly useful. It's pressure sensitive and does a wonderful job. It would be nice if Samsung helped support this idea and created a Samsung app with "remote" functionality in mind.
The screen is quite big, in fact, some people may say too big. If you don't need the S-pen you may want to consider the slightly smaller Galaxy S-3 instead. It may also be a good idea if you have smaller/meatier hands. My little hands are always hitting the back and menu buttons by accident when I use it upright. It's annoying to lose a photo op or have to retype a long message because of a hand in the way.
Reaction time can be a bit slow at times, such as hanging up a call. The call will hang up, but the screen takes a nanosecond longer to catch up. It's on par with other phones, but it's more obvious because of the size of the screen.
Also, some apps leave much to be desired as far as performance goes. This isn't Samsung's fault so much as the developers of the apps in the Play store, but limited functionality of some Android apps can be frustrating when you're using such a powerful device.
That being said, I wouldn't trade this phone for anything. It's hands down the best smartphone on the market. Coming from someone who had an iPhone before this, that's saying something."

"Being a huge android fan and a smartphone fanatic, i come across a lot of phones everyday. ever since i saw the note 2, i have been in love with it. it's a feeling hard to explain. i wanted the phone with everything i had. Finally, two months ago i got my hands on this beauty and i must say, I haven't been disappointed at all. This phone completes all my needs, flawlessly. A stunning screen, slim and beautiful profile, super fast processor, this phone has it all. i just can't keep my hands off it. Screen is excellent for watching HD movies and playing HD games. it's smooth in every way possible, absolutely no lag at all. S-Pen is the silver lining as it keeps my artistic side entertained. The battery lasts me whole day which is saying something since i use it for gaming, web browsing, watching movies and chatting almost all day. This is a perfect phone and i must say, Samsung did it. They made the perfect phone. Would certainly recommend it to everyone. Have no second doubts. Absolutely love this beauty .
The only thing i crave is a bigger internal storage. Even though it comes with expendable storage, i wish a 32 or 64 gb model was available in Canada."

"I've had many phones from the sexy LG Chocolate slidr to the iPhone 3g, iPhone 4s, Galaxy S2, and now Galaxy Note 2. I've loved all my phones but always felt they could be a bit better. I finally got the Note 2 and I can comfortably say it's the ultimate phone. It is absolutely flawless! You get used to the size after 2 days and after that, it feels like any other phone. The S-Pen has zero lag, the battery lasts about 48hours with medium usage on a single charge. Multi-Window support is great as well."

"I recently upgraded from the Note 1 and I have to say Samsung just made a great phablet even better! I love that this one now fits in the standard car holder and the audio on speakerphone is good enough that I don't bother with my bluetooth earbud anymore, not to mention the built in GPS and navigation software has now made my Garmin GPS obsolete so I've managed to offload 2 gadgets that are integrated in my phone. I love the new function whereby the minute I remove the stylus, my notepad opens up and I can instantly jot down important notes and having recently upgraded my software, I'm loving the splitscreen function; being able to text and surf is incredible! Time is of the essence and with this phone I have to say that the innovations in design and software are actually user friendly and have made performing routine tasks quicker and more efficient."
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, still cheaper than iphone!

"This phone is simply wonderful! The big screen is beatyful and make a lot of sence with the new dual display feature. The s-pen is very sensitive, it feel like a real one. The battery is powerful. I can use my phone for about 2 days without recharging it... and i'm a power user! I use to buy spare batterys with my old phone but this is not necesary wioth the note 2. The only little problem is that there is no bluetooth tethering option on this device. I have a couple of devices (ex. a watch that need to connecte to internet by bluetooth). Those devices are useless without this option...
Overall, the galaxy note 2 is close to perfection. I hope that Samsung will activate the bluethooth tethering option soon and, then, i will be the proud owner of the best phone in... the galaxy."

"As a former BB user, I was reluctant to give up my email but the OS was too slow and not a lot of functionality. But the GN2 with Jellybean is smokin' hot with speed and features. While I am taking some time to get used to Android, some of everday functions go so fast I have trouble keeping up! I think the email could be much better but as more business people take on Android, they will have to get better.
Love the big screen for streaming Netflix and it looks so clear!"

"So, the story is simple like this - my wife wanted Iphone ('because all my colleagues have it!'), which I personally don't like at all. It took me a lot of time and patience to persuade her to buy Galaxy 2 instead.
NOW she says me EVERY DAY how happy she is that I insisted on my viewpoint at that time - she's just in love with the phone. And every shift she compares her Galaxy with Iphones of her coworkers and finds only positive differences in her own device.
MOREOVER. A lot of her colleagues now ask her advice about buying Galaxy 2 because they start to change their mind about the idea "iphone is the best".

"Great display either for productivity,buisness,fun,games or movies. And its fast. The blazing LTE network makes browsing or streaming more enjoyable. Dual screen is awesome for multitasking. Not mentioning S Pen is awesome. For me I like the size for better typing and after all after you had it for a while is not feeling too big and yes still fit in pocket."

"I know that it's typical for someone to say it's the best phone they have had because it's their newest one but this is not the same. My wife has the S3 and good friends have various iPhones and this device surpass them all.
I find my self using the S-Pen more and more and loving the ability to hand write and copy and paste screen screen captures using the S-Pen.
I just received the updated to 4.1.2 and have love the multi-window. It suits a larger screen and is actually usable.
If you think the "phone" is too big to use as a phone you will quickly overcome that nonsense. I actually like having the larger phone, the mic is closer to my mouth and the phone does not look large when against my head.

"Note II with Jelly Bean 4.1.2 is a great phone. The way you can sync your calendar, different calendar views, the multi -view feature, the S pen - are some really great productive features of this phone. At times, I dont even need to use my computer since I can do all my stuff on this phone. The ability to do things or multi - task at the same time has really helped me. I would recommend this phone to anybody who has a lot of meetings, does a lot of work with spreadsheet and documents, likes reading ebook and for sure watching movies on the big screen."

"This product is absolutely amazing! It is easy to use, the screen is large enough for everyone to use. It has so many great features, having a stylus is a bonus. The galaxy note 2 has a great battery life, awesome set up, fast and reliable. The camera in this phone takes awesome pictures and really quick. Definitely would recommend this phone over any phone particularly over the iphone."

"Whatever you are into this is the mobile device that will fulfill your every need. it has the capability of a tablet yet small enough to carry around. more than a phone and just the right size tablet. i feel the note 2 is the best mobile device on the market. the screen is amazing, bringing every pixel to life. why carry a phone, a tablet and a camera around when you have not just an all in one device that will do all 3 task but do all 3 task excellently."

"I love this phone. It's easy to use, powerful and fun. It still fits in my pocket even with the Otterbox defender series case. Waaaaaaay better than the iphone. A lot more customizable. I have no complaints whatsoever about this phone. I still have yet to use it to it's full potential."

"I use to hate texting as i could not text fast enough to keep up with everyone else. Now i just write it with the sylist and have no trouble. forgot notebook or paper and pen. well just use the one on your phone this saved me for a meeting and i am secretary."

"Over the past 25 years I have had about 50 mobile phones. The Samsung Galaxy Note II (Rogers) that I got in November 2012 (Best Buy) is by far the most impressive, most capable, consistent that I have used.
Samsung impressed me so much that last week I upgraded my wife's phone to a samsung S III, almost as impressive; she's not as interested in gadgets as I.
I find the large, high resolution screen on the Note II readable even without using my reading glasses."
