"What can I say, this is the best smartphone I have ever come across. The screen is huge - I don't feel like buying an Ipad or the Galaxy tab. I can watch movies in HD, make videos in HD and click stunning pictures. The performance of the phone is good including multitasking with ample processing power and memory. Never had a problem. Apps work perfectly (some user uploaded apps crash as they have not been coded properly but that's understandable as the staff picks and established authors publish excellent apps and they do work well). There are plenty of apps in the market and I can use them to do various tasks. Battery life is excellent, I can watch movies for 10 straight hours and I was impressed when I had not charged my phone for 4 days and it still had about a quarter left. Store music, play it in the car or anywhere! The gorilla glass protects the screen like a boss. This phone has become a part of my life and I cant live without it. Good job Samsung!"

"I tried lots of phone that i could not type half the time due to big hands, pressing 3 key at once made me want to pitch the phone. I got this phone today and wow, I finally text without any problem, the sound is awesome and the phone quality in general is 10/10"

"I have had this phone for about a month now, from the day it came to Canada and let me tell you I've loved every minute of it. Now it doesn't live up to the hype people built up around it but in reality nothing ever does, but the galaxy s3 comes so close to it, it is very hard to be disappointed with it. All of the motions are phenomenal and it is just pure butter when it comes to apps and games. The 2gb of RAM really does help out alot and evenly matches it in comparison to the quad-core international version of the galaxy S3. Now on the down side the phone can be power hungry when opening cpu & gpu intensive games and will last no longer than 3-4 hours, but when not playing those games and just using the phone for texting and calling it'll last you the day and then some. There is no camera button which is kind of a disappointment to me but it's okay, I'll adjust to the on screen button. I currently have 32gb of memory used up and my gs3 only slowed down slightly. It really does it's job. In total, if your an android fan, mobile gaming addict, business man, or the casual photographer this phone is for you, and if you don't land in any of those categories this phone is still for you."
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, thin, big screen, gorilla glass, insane performance, makes your friends jealous, hd screen, can hold over 20gb of apps without slowing down, looks good
Cons: pentile display, no camera button, fragile, s-voice is slow, can be too big for some, gets hot at the bottom when gaming

"with its size i definately will not be needing to pick up a tablet, having a hard time not being able to put the phone down, it is alot of fun. i would recomend this product to everyone, especially anyone who loves being able to cutomize everything about your phone. I had an iphone 4 before this phone, sure it was a cool phone but this phone beats it hands down in every section. jailbreaking is cool but not jailbreaking is better."

"I love this phone, it's like a mini tablet that I can take with me everywhere I go! The screen is a nice size for everything, the features are great, crystal clear sound quality, beautiful video, I love to show off my Galaxy S III. It is also great for taking pictures, and has a nice bright flashlight. I couldn't imagine not having this phone, it is the perfect tool for everything I need!"

"I purchased the Samsung Galaxy S3 almost 6 months ago and it was the best cell phone purchase I've ever made. In the past I have always preferred the Blackberry models however with the recent crisis I thought it would be best to switch to a different platform. The decision came down between an iPhone and the Samsung and after days of research, the Samsung was the obvious winner. The Samsung has the best screen type/pixel, camera resolution, processor speed, extra storage, to name a few. The down side is both my charger and earphones broke and no longer work."

"I love this phone. I've actually been a devoted Android-Samsung user and this really does the job. It's fast, and highly customizable, and offers greats applications such as S Voice, S Memo etc. But what I didn't like so much was the lack of system input languages available. There were only English, French and Korean. Which was disappointing considering how I'd like to use my phone in a language I'm more comfortable in such as Chinese or Japanese. Other than that, I adore it. All the changes you can make. The camera is amazing, the motion gesture abilities are also incredibly handy. I'd recommend this phone. It's really easy to get the hang of and I also love seeing a variety of CUTE cases that I could buy for it at kiosks. The price was moderate, but luckily I had a tab to cut down the cost. It is worth what I paid, and I don't regret it. One of the best phones I owned! It's lightweight, feels nice, works well, and is a powerful machine. Only thing I'd change is the language input options which might not be a need for everyone, but it's one of my preferences. I hope they change this with future updates."

"I absolutely adore my S3. The amount of customization I am able to do with my phone is amazing. Widgets allows you to personalize your main screens even further. The apps and the widgets help keep me on track and organized. I would recommend this phone without any hesitation! The screen's size is another plus, as you are able to clearly surf the web and text. There isn't enough good things to be said about this phone!"

"I love it. My father got it for me for my birthday since I was due for a full phone upgrade anyway and I couldn't be happier. I love Samsung in general and would like to explore their other merchandise. I trust the brand fully. This smartphone is definitely smart. Very sleek, not clunky or chunky, very sensitive to the touch and doesn't bug very easily and I've had it for a few months already. Love it. Thank you Samsung!"

"I love my GS3! Pretty cool features, like being able to watch vids while doing other things on phone. However, I'd love it to play youtube vids and turn off the screen while I'm in the tanning bed, or while I'm doing something else. I'd love to be able to take a pic while on the phone with someone & send it to them (I could do this on my Optimus 7 and my HTC Touch Diamond). I'd love battery life to be longer as I sometimes charge it twice a day. I have a battery pack, so that's handy, but even that's only giving half a charge now. The screen brightness is fantastic compared to my other phones, but still can't see it well in sunlight. Last gripe: when I am on the phone page, and try to dial out, or try to punch in numbers-- like when I'm entering my voicemail passcode, etc.-- it keeps blacking out on me. I assume it's a touchscreen software glitch maybe? Anyway, that's all so far. I still don't use the phone to its full potential in terms of all the features, etc. yet though. Hope to learn more as I go! :)"

"I've had the S3 for almost a year now and i'm still so in love with it. It's my first samsung and i'm convinced that i will stay with samsung phones. I love it, it has everything i need in a phone and more. It's super user friendly, I took it out of the box and just started using it. I have never had to read the manual and i've never had a problem with it. I love the camera and I love sbeam, it makes everything so easy and fun."

"I recently switched from a Blackberry which I loved and was worried I would be disappointed, well I wasn't at all and wouldn't switch back. I Love the camera most of all and the feature that allows you to take pictures quickly and in sequence. You can also take panoramic pictures also. The size of the screen is great. Overall give the phone a 10/10"

"I pre ordered this phone and was so excited for it to come home with me. Even after having it for quite sometime now I still love it and would not trade it for any other phone (maybe the s4 when it comes out haha) there are a lot of futuristic features on this phone that I enjoy. My only complaint is that after a lot of use it lags when typing sometimes. But I still love it!"

"Purchased the Samsung Galaxy S3 in july of 2012, previously owned an iphone 3gs. I must say that the quality and performance of the Samsung brand that I have heard over the years has truly lives up to it's expectations. I have had no problems with this phone, has offered great service for phone calls, texting, web-browsing and taking pictures. This phone is advanced yet can be used by anyone (whether they be a first-time phone buyer or expert). I can honestly say there is nothing about this phone that I can negatively rate. I would recommend this phone (as well as other Samsung products) to anyone."

"This phone was my first Samsung device and six months later it's still the best phone available. I work for a phone company and the Galaxy S3 still out performs most of the devices available today. The thing that impresses me is that even though the S4 is coming out very soon, the S3 is still doing very well and has been one of our top sellers. I have even switched brand loyalty and I eagerly await the day I can upgrade to the Galaxy SIV. My favorite thing is the camera. I took this phone on vacation with me and the photos were unreal! Better than my other phone and my actual camera. This has become my go-to device for taking pictures of anything because of the clarity and sharpness. My only problem with this device is the battery life. When I was on vacation I was often getting back to the hotel room as the phone was dying. Overall that's a small complaint given that I'm a heavy user on my phone. I would recommend this phone to anyone looking for a great high end smartphone."

"This is my second Galaxy, and I love it. My apps are amazing and everything works fast and well. The camera has to be one of my favorite options on it. The photos are stellar and the shutter speed incredible. The only thing that I don't love is the size - it is a bit bigger than I imagined, so wouldn't go larger."

"That was my original thought after two weeks of owning a White Samsung galaxy S3. I went to buy it the very first week after launch date.This phone is incredibly fast and excel in multi-tasking. The only problem I found is that it lags very often. However the issue can be easily solved by just close apps on application manager. Also, I get to enjoy many apps for free :) I couldn't stop talking about this phone and eventually convinced my husband, my mother in-law, my best friend and her mom to switch to their current phone to Samsung Galaxy S3. Now, they are all happy users of this smart phone :) Thanks Samsung for great product!!"

"The phone has a pretty good camera, and you can do plenty with it. The only thing is when you choose different settings for taking photos like the night time setting, and the sunrise setting, and so on, its usually really sensitive to movement, so its hard to get a clear picture.
As far as phone calls and texting is concerned, no complaints there.
Its really easy to navigate around the phone. Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than an I Phone. Talked to a guy that was asking about the galaxy s3, and you guessed it, he just bought an I Phone. So, I was telling him about the gorilla glass and he just hummed and hawed about it. So I threw my phone up in the air, about two feet off the ground, and let it hit the ground. And he couldn't believe I did that, and was shocked that nothing broke. I double doggie dared him to do the same with his phone, but he declined.

Anyways, I like the S Voice thing, because you can text and everything with it while your driving. You just say what you want to text and it will type it out and confirm it with you. Sometimes it has a little bit of difficulty, but thats ok. You can either send or cancel the text by simply saying so. And the phone holds lots of music aswell. LOTS!
Overall, I would have to say that the phone all together is awesome. Could use with some hot female voices with an accent that talks back to you, but thats about it. And some fine tuning of the camera settings. But besides that, there is nothing I can think of."

"Has replaced 95 percent of my PC time and more effectively. Swype has made a keyboard a clumsy frustrating input media. I now dictate in private and Swype at meeting and send it to myself for editing and dissemination. It has no problem with my Hungarian/German/French accent amazing. Only thing missing is the curve on the back cover of the first Galaxy S which I never dropped."

"I love all the features this phone offers. The only downside is the camera isn't as great as the Note II or the Galaxy Nexus...but it does take night time shots quite well. It runs very quickly. "In the past I have tried a variety of smartphones in an attempt to find the one that suited me best. While all had their own unique positive attributes none that I tried provided complete satisfaction. That is to say that there was always some feature (or lack there of) I didn't like. That is until I tried the Galaxy S III. I have had this phone for 8 months now, and when people ask if I am happy with it I can actually say that I am, completely. I love the flexibility to customize, and modify that comes from Android. and I love the clean display, and set up that Samsung provides. I find myself using this device for much more than I ever had with previous smartphones. In fact my laptop has been neglected for quite some time, it has been almost completely replaced. I have to admit I was sceptical that this phone could deliver, but I am happily proven wrong. Samsung S III surpasses all other smartphones in my humble opinion."

"I have a GalaxySIII which I absolutely love. I talk more to my kids now than I ever did before. "I can text!" I thought I was too old and would never learn. But with the big screen and swipe text I am a pro now. I love the quality of the pictures it can take too. Now a soon to be Grandma I can share photos and never miss a thing. I am hoping to get a new camera. Suggestions?"

I would recommend this to a friend!
"I love the look and feel of the phone. When I preordered the phone I was worried it would be too big but when I got it I got used to it right away.
I really like that I can customize so many things. I have every detail set exactly the way I like it. Every phone I have had prior to this was not nearly as capable in this sense.
The things I am not the biggest fan of:
1. The key board. I think I will always miss the physical key board on my black berry. I've had the S3 for 8 months and I still make typos all the time on the phone.
2. Either my fingers are too fast or the keyboard/phone doesn't process what I'm typing fast enough. I often type out a text but it will freeze/lag for maybe 10 seconds and then all of a sudden all my text will quickly appear.
3. It's fragile. I was unfortunately shoved by someone in a rush as I was stepping off the bus. This caused me to fumble with and drop my phone. It was in a case but obviously that wasn't good enough despite the "tough" gorilla glass. There are a bunch of cracks on the top right corner of the screen. That being said, everything still works and it could have been a lot worse. It's just a lot less aesthetically pleasing now and I can't afford to replace the screen. I am not a fan of the heavy duty phone cases, especially on a phone that is already quite large, but I had to cave and get one after my precious S3 cracked."

"I finally made the move from Blackberry to Android, and went with the Galaxy S3. I am very pleased with the performance of this device. It's smooth running, well designed, and looks great! The only con is battery I have is the battery life. If I use the power saving features, it helps, but it would have been nice if Samsung would have provided a 2900mAh battery rather than the standard 2100mAh. Other than that. Highly recommended, and very happy with this phone!"

"The Samsung Galaxy S3 is an amazing phone. I've been recommending it to many of my friends who has troubles deciding on getting a new phone. The phone itself is quite pricey for many people but I can easily see why this sleek phone is well worth it's value. The functions found inside the phone are very useful on a day-to-day basis, such as smart alert, turn over to mute/pause, S Beam, and many more depending on your own personal use. However, after a while of using this phone I discovered that the keyboard dislikes people, such as myself, with large thumbs. The Swype keyboard is also very handy but sometimes the predictions tend to place out words that are not what you have typed. Also, if you enjoy playing games on your phone, you would've probably notice the battery doesn't last very long but if you were to use this phone with limited gaming and normal usage the battery is perfectly acceptable. These minor problems are very easy to overlook seeing as it's just a minor flaw (for me) within a great phone. Overall, I am very satisfied with this phone and for anyone who is looking for a new phone, look no further cos this is the phone for you."

"This phone is awsome. I can not put it down. I love how it feels and the is easy to use. I can find any application easily. the battery lasts for 2 days with it on from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm both in standby and using the phone for calls. I am very impressed with the design of the phone and the speed of the processor. I would recomend this phone to anyone."
