"Within 3 months of purchasing, the microwave started making a loud humming sound when on and the entire handle broke off."

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
"In less than 7 month, we have replaced this microwave 3 times! There seems to be a problem with the turtable motors (according to the tech) that after a few days of use they start buzzing loudly. Very dissapointed as we bought matching Samsung appliances and now have to look for different over the range Microwave :("
