No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
"Not worth of money as doesn't work with most of the applications. Especially you tube. Why samsung keeps such application which doesn't supported by devices they are selling. Very frustrating especially the price you pay, you can get other third party keyboards at much cheaper price.."

"The key board looks great. Unfortunately it does not cooperate with the Samsung apps. It is for example not possible to enter text in the Youtupe app"

"The product was interesting and having lot of potential but it is not fulfilling the promises. It doesn't work with YouTube smart TV app, for example. Or many other apps. Very frustrating! I'm disappointed."

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
"Most Apps dont work with the QWERTY keyboard, Net Flix, You Tube, Cinema Plus Etc. You would think that Samsung would approve the apps to go on their Smart Hub to be compatable with their accessories. Hopefully the makers of the Apps will update their software in the near future. One thing I dont like about the keyboard is the touch pad left and right click buttuns they are almost impossible to use as they are so stiff."

The keyboard isn't much of an add. If it acted as a universal remote it would be worth purchasing.

"I bought this to work with my UE46D7000 SMART TV with is only 10 months old only to find it not compatible, it does not work ! Samsung promote their smart tv's to work with a keyboard but as far as I can see there Is non available. Wasted money on something which is useless."

"Got a 65" 8000 Smart TV and absolutly love it. Was told that the wireless keyboard would make surfing the web and using apps so much easier; NOT! This product should not have been released to consumers until thoroughly tested. Instead, it was launched far too early."

"this is a pathetic product. it is unresponsive and unusable in half of the apps. is may also be a problem with the smart tv interface but the whole experience needs to be significantly better if they want it to take off as a viable alternative to plugging in a laptop. the keyboard is hugely frustrating to use. i will be returning it. AVOID"

"We have a samsung 6500 series smart tv we speciffically wanted to use keyboard for net flix you tube ect, it is not compatible and will not run apps which are paramount to smart hub usage. You really missed it on this one"
