No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
"This model has a known problem in that the softener dispenser doesn't work. Samsung has no fix for this right now, yet they go on selling them. Their excuse for this is that "some machines work". So if you don't mind gambling that yours just might work, then by all means go ahead. Otherwise choose a different model."
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
